High Altitude Garden Club Monthly Meeting Announcement

Let’s dive into the whimsical world of noxious weeds. These pesky plants have a knack for causing mischief, and they’ve formed their own secret society. Gather ‘round, gardening friends as Reggie Foster unveil some of their shenanigans and maybe a few ways to stop them on Thursday, March 21st at 12:30 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church for an informative program:

Noxious Weeds of Custer County
Reggie Foster moved to Westcliffe with her husband and three daughters in 2020. Reggie is a CSU faculty member and serves as the Custer County Extension Director. The role of Extension is to educate and connect with local community members. Seventy percent of Reggie’s responsibilities are in directing the Custer County 4-H program. When she is not educating and implementing programs for our county’s youth, Reggie is connecting with citizens to share information and research for ag. Natural resources and family and consumer sciences. Reggie also serves alongside our Office of Emergency Management as the ESF-11, responsible for animal evacuations.
